A Fundraising Event
The Twilight Runway Challenge is the Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) flagship fundraising event of the year. It is a unique opportunity for all CMPP partners, their family, friends and the whole community to get together and take part in a truly extraordinary, unique experience. This year, the change of venue means that we are able to increase participation and can now sign up 1,000 challengers.
Local charities and schools: you are free to use the iconic Twilight Run to raise funds for their own causes too. Visit the charity page for further details on this.
Sponsors: if you would be interested in sponsoring a Challenge route, pease get in touch with email@example.com.

What to expect
The Twilight Runway Challenge is a fun, family event. It takes place on a Saturday evening (once the flights have stopped landing!) along the airstrip itself. The fun will start with a mini 1k-Twilight at 5pm for children aged between 1 and 7, followed by the main Challenge which will start at 7pm.
Run for fun or challenge yourself to complete the event as quickly as you can. Not everyone chooses to run the Runway Challenge: some walk, some cycle, some skateboard, some rollerblade - last year, we enjoyed the participation of our very first unicyclists!
Challengers can enter the 3k or 5k routes or you can complete 10k by completing the 5k circuit twice. Please note that if you are planning to walk the course, you will only be able to enter the 3k or 5k Challenge.
Please note, this is not a professionally managed running event with chip timings. The Twilight Runway Challenge is organised and managed entirely by volunteers.
All Challengers will receive a goody bag including a finisher's medal. And after the Challenge, please stay and enjoy the vibe of a great community event. No Glastonbury this year but we will have live music courtesy of local band The Vice Squad. So, share a well-deserved drink on the green in the good company of fellow Challengers before you depart for home, medal in hand! Please note, however, that Blackbushe Airport is a strictly non-smoking, non-vaping environment.
CMPP would like to thank Blackbushe Airport for their support in hosting the annual Twilight Runway Challenge for the first time. Since its inception in 2012, when 60 runners gamely struggled up the Runway at TAG Airport in Farnborough, this wonderful event has raised well over £30,000 to date!
We look forward to seeing you there!
